Donation Terms

These terms apply to donations made through the Union Grove Walkathon public donation pages.

1. Donations Support The School

Donations are made to the school fundraiser, not to an individual student or family. Student selection is used for internal attribution and recognition only.

2. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. Amounts are charged in U.S. dollars (USD). By submitting payment, you authorize the charge for the amount shown at checkout.

3. Student Attribution

  • Exact-match search is used to find a single student.
  • If no exact match is found, you may still donate and staff may associate the donation manually.
  • Family split options (if offered) are for attribution only and do not change that the donation is to the school.

4. Confirmations And Tax Documentation

  • A confirmation is provided after successful payment processing.
  • No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations unless explicitly stated.
  • For U.S. taxpayers, IRS rules require a contemporaneous written acknowledgment to claim a deduction for contributions of $250 or more.

5. Refunds And Corrections

Donations are generally treated as final. If you believe a donation was made in error, duplicated, or unauthorized, contact the school office promptly for review.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the donation pages, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with service availability or security controls.

7. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
